Saturday 11th June saw the annual meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge. Visitors from across the country, including 14 visiting Provincial Grand Masters came to join in the fun. The meeting was presided over with a warm welcome and good humour by our Provincial Grand Master, R. W. Bro. Eric Rymer.
The eventful meeting saw the retirement of the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, V. W. Bro. Jeff Whiteley, after many years on the circuit acting variously as DC, Assistant PGM and Deputy PGM. His hard work and commitment has been appreciated by all over the years.
Following this was the Installation of his successor, W. Bro. Paul Yarnell as Deputy PGM and W. Bro. Richard Green as Assistant PGM, respectively pictured below.
Another wonderful bonus was the presence of the newly Installed Assistant Grand Master, Francis Charles Spencer, who needed no introduction as our Past Provincial Grand Master. The members of the Province are very proud of him and wish him all the best in his new appointment.
Congratulations are, of course, also due to all of those who received Provincial Appointments and Promotions. Congratulations one and all.
Thanks must also be recorded to those who made the event happen. These events don't plan themselves and we are all grateful to those who quietly put in the effort in the background, you know who you are.
